Title: Pre-87 heads on 91 TBI 350
Post by: SUX2BU99 on July 02, 2008, 12:27:58 pm
Hey guys, I'm trying to sell the heads I took off my 350 and a guy with a stock 91 Silverad with 350 TBI is interested in them. I know about the centre-bolt thing, but besides valve cover mounting, is that the only difference? My old heads are 1971 3986336 castings with 76cc chambers, 194/150 valves. Will these bolt-on without any problems to his 91 350? I'll toss in a pair of Edelbrock chrome valve covers for him too.

Thanks.

I cant really give you real specifics but I just bolted 80-86 heads onto a 87 305 with no issues at all. Just had to change intakes.

The four center bolts on the intake manifold will have to be elongated to match up.

Ah okay, yeah so unless he wants to also buy an aftermarket TBI-compatible intake, then these may not be best for him unless he doesn't mind grinding on some holes. Thanks.
