I remember the Bicentennial of 1976....man it's been 32 years already.  I was 8 and remember boarding the "Bicentennial Train", a train like a museum with exhibits on it and stuff.  I remember I was hot as heck and didn't care about the stuff.

I too remeber the bicentenial train, Came right through Danbury.
