HI yall from texas!!!! I have a 1980 c/10 stepside ill get some pics up soon, I have a question I hope yall can help me wtih..Ok now I had to replace the rh side door and I did all the body work shaved all the stuff, I hung the dang thing new hindge kits the works..NOw my problem the doors are from an 85 does it matter? 80 was the last year of the 73-80 style and I got a rubber kit for the cab it it just doe snot seem right how can i tell? i thought all the doors interchange? any help would be good. thank you...

It does not matter, I have 87 doors on my 78. Could you explain the problem a little more.

The problem is i got the kit form jcwhitney when i should have got it from else where..They dont fit right any tips maybe put them in the sun?

start at the middle of the bottom of the rocker...that's where mine start and end, maybe others are different.

what is the problem with the fitting. The company that used to supply JCW with weatherstripping has the best fit in my opinion. What piece are you working on?
BTW, doors were NOT the same from 73-87. They are broken down 73-76 and 77-87(91). The interior skin is different on these. They complete doors will swap up or down though.
