I was wondering where the paint code would be for my dads 1995 chevy van 20.its jsut a plain work van and im gonna work on fixin the rust and then its gonna need more paint so.- i think its probly in the consul glove box type thing but i havent bothered to look. which/where is it on the paper once i find it 2

On the Spid label at the bottom it will give the paint code.
The #'s plus the type of paint, typically bc/cc base coat clear coat.
GM usually puts them in the glove box, center console, spare tire cover, and in the headliner.

That vintage the number should be preceeded by WA then the number and also the bc/cc like Vile mentioned.

i found U8624 can ne body tell me if thats the paint code or did i get smth else

U stands for urethane. Base coat clear coat, urethane clear. That is probably it. Call the store you plan to purchase the paint and ask if that is a good number. Edited by: Blazin at: 1/4/07 8:35 am
