Title: I got a question do a 250 inline six come with a th350

I got a question i have a 250 i-6 come with a th350. Would it be capable of holding my 454 and the little mods i made till it i dont want have a custom driveshaft made for my th400. By the way the year of my truck is 1979

a th350 will handle a mild 454 if you're not wailing on it or pulling heavy loads regularly..I'd install a transmission cooler on the fluid return line to be safe.
Its PROBABLY a th350 in that truck..a th350 pan is square with one corner "cut off"...I'd build a 700r4 for it myself..a properly built 700r4 will handle anything a mild 454 can throw at it, especially with a transmission cooler..

Hey thanks bro.  I do have a th400 but i dont want go thru all the hassle of makin a custom driveshafts thanks bro
