We have an Anheusier Busch plant near Colonial Williamsburg, Va--it's Williamsburg's 3rd largest employer--it has a Busch Gardens theme park as well. They say nothing is moving. (yeah right, for now)
Time will tell. I don't like bud anyway....Miller Light man myself.
-
Butt Wiper is lousy anyway. I say let em leave!
-
We have an Anheusier Busch plant here too. As far as I know they are staying too. Any beer is nasty if ya ask me. I like Mud Slides!
-
Blasphemy!
-
I like homebrew, and craft beers. I like when you get a nice flavour of hops in the back of the throat hours after drinking your beer.
Didn't stop me from drinking 3 buds last night that my neighbour gave me while putting a stereo into his boat. ;D
-
I'm an ale fan myself. Primarily and depending on my mood Fat Tire or Arrogant B****** (I didn't think Chris would approve, but I bet most of you know the beer I'm talking about). Bud, Miller, Busch just aren't my thing, especially light beers.
-
I like light beers. Heavy beers make me feel full and fat. If I'm gonna pig out I'd rather eat it than drink it.

My favorite light beers are coors light and corona light (with a pepperoncini in it rather than a lime, it's good)
Grolsch is a nice skunky beer ;D
-
I am the same way, Vile, light beers are "less filling" just like the commerical. Oh, and it "tastes great". I am not a Kurt Busch, or for that matter, a Rusty Wallace fan, but, I love my Miller Lite. I keep my small fridge in the basement well stocked--well, it gets depleted quite often and once a week I restock it with another case. ;D

the loss of another american company for profit. i grew up in st louis and have toured the brewery. this is an outrage. what next, gm sell out to fiat, or ford to yugo.
first chrysler then the air force buys french airplanes now this. american companies need to stay in america! my 2 cents
-
$ is the bottom line. We should be tapping into our own resources, like fuel oil, and alternative energy, and buy and build American cars that are better than japanese, and we should have the best beer in the world.... But we all know the truth...
-
no mo frogs..."Bud....Wiser.....ERRRRR"
no mo clydsdales
no mo bud bowls
Some dude on CNN said "yeah some Belgium company from Germany bought it" ???
Heck the NFL Superbowls won't be the same. You know that Belgium Company from Germany :o won't put out the Franks ??? for ads on the most watched TV program.
This Bud's for EU!
-
America is not America anymore! Our oil is from Middle East, our cars are from Japan, and now our beer is from Germany...
ATLEAST MY BOURBON IS STILL FROM KENTUCKY!!!
-
michelob light for me ;D
-
Beer is nasty. Truth right there
I'll take a 30 year old single malt served neat with a glass of icewater with a pinch of salt.
-
I used to be a Budwiser Drinker but an old guy got me drinkin Miller High Life so I've switched back and forth for the last couple years. I think now I'll just live the High Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
hopefully inbev will improve it and make it something resembling real beer. i would rather drink a dark beer that has flavor then some watery alcohol sludge that they pass off as american.
-
Bud and Bud light are very, very, popular brands of beer, not only in the U.S., but, worldwide. Trust me, the new owners will not change a thing.
Remember when Coke tried to change Coke?

Dud Weiser used to be more of a Traditional Blonde Ale, but it has been trashed through the Generations, hopefully this will help it come back! If not then the new owners just got rid of one of their Bigger Competition! Rainier and Oly were up there with popularity, especially here in the Pacific Northwest... First Oly bought out Rainier, and closed the Old Rainier Brewery.... Then Miller Bought Out Oly to not only get them, but to also have the rights to Rainier, which gave them control of the NW like they wanted.... Fast Forward to now, and you can barely get ahold of either beer around here.... Miller mainly keeps them both to the Milwaukie Area, and Exports them to Europe..... Ofcourse with all of that, neither one of them taste like they used to! >:(

I'm with SgtDel on this one...Nothing will change. Bud is a large name...often the only American beer in European pubs. In 1995 Interbrew out of Belgium bought Labatt and nothing changed beer-wise, all it did was give the Belgians a small share of Canadian beer profits (actually increased international sales). Also, remember when Molson and Coors merged three years ago? That didn't change anything, except make half-and-half cases available.
..Really?... CNN actually said 'a Belgian Company from Germany'?? Priceless
As for me...Molson Stock Ale, forever.

michelob light for me ;D
x2. used to drink strictly bud light, but i guess the kidneys are wearing down. had to switch my selection to avoid hangovers. I have a hard time drinking any AB product now with the Germany move.
