Mine! I've gone for the last four years & have been the only one every year. With all of the Diesel ones that make for a bolt-in deal I'd think someone else would show up with one. The way the weekend goes is: Friday is Olds rented during the day, test-n-tune for everyone in the evening. Saturday is open to everyone & Sunday is just Olds powered vehicles. My brother drove his Mustang over Friday to run in the open parts. On Saturday we both ran in the street-stock class. About midnight it was down to Six (both my brother & I were left) He won his round, but I lost, leaving Three, the sky opened up & they canceled the rest. They ended up giving all three Quarter final trophies. My wife drove all day on Sunday (her first bracket race attempt) She had run the truck at test-n-tune, ect. but this is where it counts. She ended up going Three rounds & ran the lowest ET for the truck for the weekend (12.60 in the heat of the day, about 93*). It's a good thing she drove the truck & I drove the motorhome, it would have been a long 150 miles home...."I went faster than you!" He He. We made 13 passes mostly in the 12.60's. Might be putting an Olds in my GMC 4x4(if I can keep it, wife kinda wants a more dependable car/truck)..... I think that may have blown my SBC 400 a few days ago, and if I did there is a 350R that just might take it's place(Didn't look like it threw a rod through the block, so the 400 will probably just get storage duty, till it could be rebuilt)! ;D I had it built for my '80 Seville while I was still in High School, but I wound up blowing the trans after 1,500miles on the build up.... The Seville was Junked several years later, but I yanked the engine for an '82 Cutty Cruiser Kustom that I wanted to build... The wagon is soon to be gone(no garage to work on it), yet the engine will be staying...

Yes Capt. This was the first time out with the new set-up. I still have not touched the shocks (I set them both @ 5 & ran it) I'm not sure how much if any good that will do. I still have to make the traction bars, all I got done was the brackets at the U-bolts. All that I've been using is the front portion of the spring is clamped & a piece of square tubing put on the retainer bracket. After the first pass, my friend came over & said "Man that thing hooked HARD" I knew it felt good, but I was shocked when I saw the picture :o Also It still has the used S-10 torque converter in it. I run the RPM's up to about 1300 & wack it on the last Yellow, it flashes to about 1900. Someday I'll pop for the Vigilante unit things should get real interesting (most likely breaking parts). Vile, There are several tracks I go to... This was at Norwalk Ohio, about 150 miles away, also we run at Pittsburgh Raceway in Pa. & Quaker City in Salem Oh. both are about an hour to an hour & a half away. Stewart, They are Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials 325 50 15 (about 28 x 11) I run them all the time. I've got stuck in the rain a couple times, they do better than I thought they would & hook pretty good at the track. They have less wiggle than the regular ET streets. Lorne

Have you ever considered "pursuing" the 10.5 class----since you're already close in tire size+you seem like the type that always wants to go faster.
i, personally, don't like the idea of basing a class on tire size(makes no sense to me), but you might seem like you might enjoy it.
2) Is there room for larger rear tires? i just feel that there is already plenty of room under a stock 73-87 tub. So to enlarge them seems like quite a bit of work for 28X11's.
3) is this a strictly track truck, or do you haul stuff with it?
