Title: Trucks for a 73-87chevytrucks Calendar.
Post by: Captkaos on July 23, 2008, 07:21:21 pm
I want to put together a Calendar for the forum, we can do this year and next year if we have enough trucks.
There is NO criteria for the truck, as long as it is a 73-87 truck, and it is an actual Members truck, it can be running, in progress, painted, patina, rusted etc as long as it is a good pic.

With that said, nominate your favorite and post them up, If we get over 18, we can do a poll on them.

Here is one I like

Thanks choptop pics are no problem. I agree Blazin Vile's 74 we'll call it, Broadzilla's maybe for the month of mother's day or Breast cancer awareness month, choptop's extended cab would be a cool pic also. Kinda hard with so many nice trucks on here I could keep going.

Oh Sweet! I like this idea! BroadZilla noticed this post and told me about it while I was at graduation tonight. I agree with JR's truck! Awesome! I guess I can't argue with mine either? lol We definitely have some beaut's here. How bout we all dig up some of our best of pix and post them in here and then nominate them. I wish my black truck was done with the body work since I redid everything. But it still looked like the Darth Vader of 74's as it was.

Got2hauls truck has a nice factory look to it I dig.

Choptops truck is pretty sweet lookin too and unique.

My brain hurts too bad too think of who else right now. lol so post your best pix!

That is what I am looking for.  I don't care if it is in progress, rusty, stock, restored, bagged, lifted, polished muddy...  As long as the pic is good..

Keep in mine you don't have to post "THE" pic we are going to use, just the members name and their truck...

Ya'll really don't want to leave it to me do you?

I'd like to see some one of the "rare" trim packages on there..i believe its alex that has 1 or more of them in very nice shape?

I'll add another vote for Vile's '74, as well as Jr's truck..Blazin's blazer in any one of a number of good shots would be a great addition, either buried hood deep in mud, or cresting some of the large hills we've seen videos of. Also, tvblazer78's blazer seems like a no-brainer to me.

Also, xtremjeepn's trail cleanup truck would be an excellent candidate, although it would be sweet if we could get a better pic of it than this one.

I wouldn't place a vote for my truck, but I've included a pic of it as well

Not Voting now, just listing members name and their truck, If it is already listed there is no need to list it again, just pick another on.  Once we get enough (12 for 1 year)  or more than enough (18 for 1.5 years)  I will setup a poll and if there are too much we will vote for our favorites.

Chris don't forget you need one for the cover too. So 13 for a year? Plus you could have some smaller wallet type size of the same truck but from a different angle at the bottom corner of the calender page. Just my $.02!

The only frilly girly store I don't mind going to with the wife is V's Secret.  ;D

My daily driver...1980 GMC Sierra...nothing fancy, but very reliable.
Even in the harsh winters here in New Brunswick, Canada.
My Dad and I have owned this truck since 1985.
I'm on the message board frequently...I just don't post much.
This time I hope the pic attached properly.

Where did you get the wheels on your 79 diesel? I don't think they are stock.
I've been looking for something like that.  The turbine rims on my 1980 GMC (see pic above) are off my friends 76 Trans Am.
