red4wd has a niece that needs all the prayers we can give!!
Our prayers go out to him and his family !!!
From red4wd
Hey guys sorry for being awol but we have had alot going on. My 3 year old niece has been in and out of the hospital the past couple months and has had a tumor removed from her neck and has one in her stomach. We have tried to no end to get her into St Jude in Memphis but they won't take her. The oncology department at Boston Children's is doing the latest pathology work on the tumor and we should know something in a few days.
On top of that my dad stayed a week in the hospital with Pneumonia while he was trying to move all of his cattle equipment and cattle from his old farm to his new one. This all meant that me and my other brother and sister got to do alot of moving and taking care of cattle over the past few months.
I have been checking my email about once a week and barely even posting on my hunting board.

As a father of 2, my heart goes out to the parents of your niece. Every day I pray for the health and safety of my children. I will definitely hold your niece in my prayers!

I will be thinking of your family.
Cancer has touched my family several times. Most recent my oldest sister had breast cancer. They caught it early and she is doing great now.

Thoughts and prayers from me also.

GREAT BIGG THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS coming her way Bro!!! Little ones being hit with anything other than the sniffles, hits home with me.... Especially when it comes to Nieces!! :-[ I am Lucky in that I have Plenty of Nieces and a few Nephews that would make a Good Hockey or Rugby Team! ;D
Got to say that she is in more than capable hands, when it comes to Children's Hospital.... My second Eldest Angel just graduated from High School this year, Thanks to the Loving Care and Help she received from the Saviour's at Seattle's Childrens......
Here she is after her Graduation Ceremony

My Family was Originally told be prepared for her not to make it past her 3rd B-day, but Thankfully Children's Helped to prove that wrong!!!
It may look like her face has pimples like any other teen, but they are actually several small facial tumors, and she as quite a few on her brain as well :-[ She has always been a Great Strong Little Character, even the first time I was Lucky enough to hold her in my big clumbsy hands.....
Definately Best Wishes for Red4wd's Little Lady!

I couldn't imagine going through something like this with one of my children. I'm praying for red4wd's niece and all of the family involved.

So sorry to hear this, why does this have to happen to children?

Thanks to everyone...I know my brother appreciates the thoughts and prayers from everyone. I think Katie is on every prayer list every where. She has been diagnosed with pancreatoblastoma which is an extemely rare form of cancer. They will probably be going to either Boston or Philadelphia for treatment. They are lucky in that they own a trucking company that my sister in law's dad will keep going while they are away, so they will still have an income stream. Plus the company my sister in law works for has told them the company jet is at their disposal.

That's good because medical bills and travel expenses add up quick! I've heard really good things about Boston and have known them to help many people. Best wishes from me!

Wow, I'll send up a prayer for you folks too. My daughter just turned 3 a couple weeks ago and I can't even begin to imagine if she had to deal with that at her age :'( Keep us updated.
