I have a lincoln 110V Mig and it works good but if money is no object look at a nice miller. The lincolns are kind of hokey but the good thing is if you need the basic parts for them you can just get them at home depot instead of trying to find a dealer or welding supply. Are you a good welder or beginner?

I used to have a Century 110 mig. I liked it, never had any problems with it, I could weld up to 3/8" with it. I did weld some 3/4"" with it once, preheated the steel with a torch. I never should have sold it. Sold it to buy my 220 Snap on welder.

Miller has a 140 amp mig welder for @ $625. Hobart sells a 140 amp welder in Northern Hydraulics catalogue for under $500.that size welder ought to do a good job at home. Should be able to weld 1/4 " stuff with them. 115vac.

I bought a Hobart 135, and my only regret was not going a little bigger. Over wise, a fine machine.

If you can stick weld you will master a mig in no time. Then you will wonder why you didn't buy one years ago, then you will want a bigger one!
