Title: Hello,from mount olive nc!

I just got me an 87 dually,454,4 door,for a two vehicle.It has a ZIMMER package,a conversion package i guess it was.Any way,the truck is decent,need minor body work,and paint,454 is a remanned goodwrench motor,along with a turbo 400 remanned by chevy.the truck has rebuilt front suspension,new hydraboost,and powersteering pump,new alternator,and new radiator.The brakes and tires are fairly new also.I do have to fix the fuel gauge,and the dual tank switch or some thing is not working,i know this is a common problem with these trucks.Also,the hard vaccum line to the heater controls is rotted,and i have no idea how to replace that yet,it is very small,and i havent seen any replacement hose for it yet.Hopefully some of you guys can give me some tech advice on this truck,i really like it

Welcome from middle Tennessee! I recently  bought an 87 with the same thing - vacuum problems in the heat/ a/c units ( I think) :D We'll learn together on the fix.
