Okay, I have put a 4" rough country kit in my truck which is a 78 3\4 and I want to purchase extended brake lines for it. Where do I find them? The only ones that I can find are from 4 wheel parts and are skyjackers. Thats all fine and good but they have 2 different styles listed, one for 7200 GVWR or less and the other for 8600 GVWR or greater. I don't have a clue which truck I have, how would I find that out? Are there any others out there?

I get mine from a local speed shop. I don't recall what the brand is.
Your GVW should be on your registration, or on your left inner fender.
-
Just use drop brackets, relocate the hose and you should be fine.
-
The ones I got from 4 wheel parts are Pro Comps. I would guess the higher gvwr is for a 1 ton.
-
bought some bullet proof Kevlar ones from superlift, pricey, but should be good for a long time.

I bought extended brake lines from Rough Country for under $40 to the door.
Here's what they look like:

Whats the part number? and that was for a 6" lift right?

Part number is 89360.
I went back and looked and I was wrong, I got mine from http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/W_brakes_GM.htm
You can also get them directly from the Rough Country website: http://roughcountry.com/chevy_4wd_77-87_4.html Scroll down and you'll see "Select Year". Just choose 78 and add it to cart.
You can get them from either site; they are the exact same price, $34.95. I don't know RC's shipping costs but from Rocky it was $4.
It's for a 4" lift. They are pretty long and would work on a 6" lift, too. On the RC site, however, you can choose from 4", 6" or 8" lift.

I assume the 34 bucks are for each of them.
Thanks goatbeard.

$34 is for the pair of front brake lines (everything you see in the pic is $34)... It's a great deal for extended brake lines!

YUP! Shore nuff.

They don't look too shabby mounted, either!
