Title: light above the rear window inside the cab won't turn off?

Ok, so I'm not sure what's going on here. I guess the first question is how do you turn on the dome light (not sure what it's called but it's the light above the rear window in the cab)? I noticed it was on tonight and the only way I can get it to turn off is by turning my headlight switch knob all the way to the left which turns on the floor light. So at that point the dome light is off but the floor light is on. If I turn the headlight switch knob back to the right the floor light turns off but then the dome light is on again. What the heck?? ???

mine did the same thing check your door jamb switches and when you close the door the dome light should go off so it might be the switches

i had this mprob i ended up temp. putting the two wires together so that it was like the switch was working and then ordered two new ones

Was it a bad ground or  door switch?

The switch on the drivers side is shot. I'm ordering two new ones.
