After 10 years my mini starter finally died
I replaced it with a local parts store rebuild that I'm really not thrilled with,
but I needed the to keep the truck going at the time...
It's been a while since I bought a starter and there is so much stuff on the market now
I need a recomendation for a new starter (brand new, not rebuilt)
While the Tiltons and Powermasters are nice, I really can't spend $300+ for a starter,
$150 is my budget for this mission....
It an 82 #207 block (350) with a 168 tooth flexplate

Couldn't you just have your ministarter rebuilt at a local shop? Just a thought.

I still have the original case for both my starter and alternator. I always just have them rebuilt by a local shop.

Get the summit brand mini. It's got a good warranty and is cheap.
