Purchased some 35" Boggers for my 1975 Jimmy and did a test fit and found I need about 3-4" more lift. My truck came with a 4" Pro Comp Suspension lift and I'm wondering if there's a safe, low-buck way to get some more lift in the suspension as I don't want to do a body lift.
Here's a shot of of the clearance with the tires pointed straight ahead... turning the front wheels rams the tires into the lip of the fender.

Also, there's going to be a little more weight on the front end as I'm swapping out the small block and installing a big block (http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=9119.0).
Most of the 6" and 8" lift kits are over $1000.00 and that's not in the budget right at this time. I could cut the fenders but would prefer not too...
Suggestions?

Well Pro-Comps 4" Setup is generally Rear Blocks w/UBolt Kit,New Front Spring Packs, Steering Arm, with Front & Rear ES3000 Shocks...
I would suggest you check out Off-Road Designs Shackle Flip Kit, and go from there...... If the truck is mainly street driven, as opposed to serious Trail Driving, I would do the 4" Shackle Flip, and either an Add-A-Leaf or swap to 2" Blocks(Personally Blocks would be the fastest thing I would eliminate, with all of the Hoorors I have seen/heard/experienced with them)....

Honestly to get a Better idea of a direction to go, why not contact the guys at ORD, and pick their brains on what you are trying to do, along with what you already have to work with....

Does this help?

Perfect. The Flip Kit and the new leaf spring suspension kits were exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks!
