Like a dummy I forgot to measure the holes in the door for the proper placement of mirrors before the old Suburban was hauled off for scrap. Can anyone provide me that info? I have the stock little mirrors on it but I want to put the "dumbo" style on it and my 85 has the camper so I have nothing to go on.

Pictured is the mirror style. If someone has a door with one off the measurement of the bottom hole center to the body line and to the front edge would be great. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what type mirrors my truck actually had on it or if there were different styles of "dumbo" Mirrors. Mine has three holes, two on top and one almost cetered on the bottom. Suprisingly the pass. side holes are all ripped out, caged nuts are gone and all, but the drivers side is remarkably all there and tight. The measurements I have are from the top of the window opening (body lines can be decieving, could have had some work done and not exactly square). I also measured from the front edge of the door ( could have also had body work done there but where else can you measure from? Front edge or back is about all..lol)The front top hole is 1 3/4" down and 8 1/8" over from front. The second top hole is 1 5/8"down and 13 1/8" over from front. The bottom hole is 6" down and 10 3/8" from front. This is for the drivers door as I said the pass. door is way too damaged to see clear measurements, I would think they would be mounted similarly.?? The truck is an '80 Chevy Fleetside if that makes a difference.?? Hope this helps :)

Thank you. I know I could get it close but I want to utilize the piece that mounts to the door skin for the bottom hole for the bottom threads. The last truck I put aftermarket look alikes on there and the door moved enough that the mirrors vibrated. I didn't know that piece existed.
