very nice project. I'd love to have an old vehicle tied to the family and everyone watch me get her back in shape. Take it to family reunions and stuff. I'd keep her stock. Take many, many pictures throughout the project. The best thing of that era truck is no smog stuff or cats!

I had a 69 C-20, 72 C-10, 72 K-20 Cheyenne and a 71 C-20 Longhorn Camper Special. I liked the body style but felt cramped inside the cab. Great story about the family history of it. That's kinda how I got my 85 with my uncle retiring from the same plant it was made and he had a hand at putting it together.

That metal ice chest brings back fond memories of bygone fishin days. Mine was red tho.. wonder where the heck I put that chest.......
