well im trying to figure out what rubber to use up front i have goodyear 325/50/15 radial slicks in the rear i just ordered the djm 3" lowering control arms last night so i want something functional but still looks good i also have a big block in it ;D if that matters... soo basically any opinions on size, brand, type would be greatly apreciated

If you are just going down 3" in the front, you should be able to run 275/60/15's
-
I ran 325/50R15s for years with 275/60R15s up front but when I lowered my truck I went lower profile.
-
i think i want to go with a skinnier tire up front but i want to make sure it can handle the weight and still handle decent... i really want to highlight the rear tires but still keep the functionality

I'm running Uniroyal 205 75's on a 5" wheel. They handle pretty well, they look a little low on air at the correct psi. but they are carrying the big block weight. Lorne

sweet thats exactly what i wanted to know, i love the way your truck looks

I have a 245/50-15 on a 15x8.5 wheel. I like it. They look a tad short but they have a nice width to them.

I ran a 255/60-15 on a 7" rim up front with a big block in my 67.
They were tall enough to fill the wheel well, handle the weight of the big block without bulging out and are not too wide.
