Title: anyone tried to install a keyless entry/remote start??

if so is it hard to do?? i have one here that was bought and never installed and i want to install it in my truck. i have the wiring diagram printed out. how long should it take?

Not hard to do if you know how to follow instructions and have a little bit of mechanical know how

i have mechanical know how im just not good with wiring. im pretty sure i can do it.

buy yourself a test light or a meter, solder, heat shrink, a good soldering iron and take your time.

^^^^Best Advice Right There!!! 8) Also read the instructions before attempting, follow along while doing so, and don't be afraid to ask questions...

OH and Absolutely make sure to disconnect the Battery Cables before attempting :o   Yes something very simple, but you would be surprised at how many people neglect this step!!!  You can either trash your battery and starter, while making the connections at the starter, or you can get the holy crap shocked out of you in the process, if not all of the above(Been there, and Done that, Thanks to a smart-alec of a Buddy that decided to reconnect the cables while I was replacing a starter in the rain >:() :o :o :o
