Post by: chevy87truck on September 16, 2008, 12:07:22 am: my 87 shortbed is my world lol ongoing project. this is for all of the tbi haters, and with all do respect i believe it is due to lack of knowledge about the tbi system. i run 15's all day, spinnin badly and i still get 16 mph in town and 20 on the highway, now very good but for a truck is aero dynamically challenged it is pretty good.

hopefully into the low 14's very soon with new vortec motor with lt4 hot cam.
and of course new tinted windows lol

I was getting about 17 -18 in my 88 Blazer 350 TBI. I shoulda never sold it!

Post by: chevy87truck on September 21, 2008, 02:19:02 pm: it should be getting better mileage but ive got too big of injectors for the motor thats in it, but ill probly be in the 14.9 range with my 3.42 gears and a 2400-2600 stall.

87's have to be the hardest to come by so if you get one and want to sell it hit me up lol.
