I think Chris has a set. I personally like the look of the vent window and would be worried about the same thing if one broke.

I have a kit and I haven't installed them yet.  I will be getting another set also.
I have sold a number of them and I haven't had a problem except for one customer that wanted to return them because "there is wind noise".  8 months after he installed them.

If one gets broken, a replacement is available.

I like the one piece look.  My race truck has one-piece windows and I really like it.  It's one of those things that doesn't stand out right away, but when people notice it, they are like "hey that's cool".  It's definately different and I agree it gives a cleaner look.  I think you should go for it.

Wish we could see a few good pics of a truck that had them installed.

That is rather nice. But i would have two concerns with this.

1. Does it take to much away from that "Old iron" feel that these trucks have? Single windows tend to be a newer truck thing.

2. You also gotta consider replacement, as that other member pointed out. Stuff happens, and sometimes windows get broke. I wouldn't begin to know where to look for replacements, other than the seller/manufacturer of the kit. And once you get a little monopoly (of sorts) going on it, you can pretty much charge what you want for it. My guess would be somewhere in the $350-$400 range, which is of course way too high. As opposed to just going with the security of keeping the stock setup. Now if we could see a price on a replacement window, that would clear this up.

The glass is the most expensive piece of this kit, the kit is $700, the glass is most likely going to be $200-250.  If one is broken there is replacements availible and yes, you HAVE to get it from the manufacturer of the kit as the glass is Patented.  The current glass is $100 for a replacement so...

If you are balking on the possibility of replacement and the cost of, then I would think the kit isn't for you.

Ugh. Someone did that to mine too. I am going to have fun getting it all off and then replacing everything.  ::)
