What do you do when your bed sticks out to far? Not from front to back. From side to side. I notice this when i look in my rear view mirrors. But it is really noticeable when you get out and just sorta get on eye level with the door handle and look down the bed towards the tail lights. Where the bed meets up with the cab, it seems to stick out about a half inch (maybe 3/4", i'll measure it) to far on each side. But only near the top of the bed, closest to the trucks rear window. It's like it has sagged out over the years. Is there anything that can be done about this? Maybe put a couple come-alongs (ratchet winches) in the inside under the lip, near the front of the bed and attempt to bend it back it?

I think they're all like that.

I just put my bed back on the truck and I noticed it also. I have new cab rubber mounts.
I think they're all like that.

They were made like this. The rear of the cab tapers in towards the bed.

Here's what I do. First replace the cab mounts and check your trim heights. From there remove the bed and elongate the holes near the front panel. Push in HARD and tighten the bolts. My 85 is like that and I haven't finished tweaking it yet. It sucks but you can make it work.
