Title: Hello From PA
Post by: Dirtydog on September 22, 2008, 11:12:33 pm
Hey everyone, the name is Josh and I am from Lancaster County, PA. Just got a 1976 K10 and am starting to do some restoration, so any help or information you would like to give me would be appreciated. :)

Welcome - post some pics.

What are your intentions for it?  Daily driving, offroad....?

I tore the bed off it last night, but as far as what I would like to do with it. I think I am going to make it a daily driver. I am looking for rear fenders for it right now. But I will try and have pictures of it up this week.

I found out that good rear fenders/bedsides are hard to find used.

That would be my first suggestion is to try and find good, used bedsides.  If not, find ones that can be repaired without alot of work.  If you order them, expect to tinker with them to get them to fit right and expect some "shipping damage".  I bought another used bed and made one good bed out of two bad beds.

Good luck - you are at the right place.

I found a 76 bed that someone made into a trailer, but someone directed me to usbody.com and I am checking that out.
