Hey guys, I saw these listed in my local craigslist. They are 17" Eagle Alloys series 212. The tires are 245/45/17 for the front and 255/45/17 for the rear. The guy says the fronts are 9" wide, and the rear are 10" wide. But I did a little research and it looks like they only come in 9.5" and 8" wide, so I assume that's what they really are. I'm planning to do a 4/6 drop on my truck. Do you think these will fit and look good? Thanks for the help.

What is the backspacing?
-
The guy doesn't know the backspacing. According to Eagle Alloy's website the backspacing on the 9.5" wheel ranges from 4.5" to 6", and the backspacing on the 8" wheel ranges from 4.5" to 5.5". I'm not sure if that helps.

What did he have them mounted on?
-
They were mounted on a '96 Chevy pickup, 2WD. The seller also said his pickup was lowered 4/6.

What is the backspacing?
I can go take a look at the wheels and measure them myself. What backspacing would they need to have in order to fit on my truck with a 4/6 drop?
-
The 8" needs to be at least 4", the rear should be about 4.5/5...

So the wheels ended up being a little rough around the edges... literally. But thanks for the info. Now I know what to look for.
