What is this grille on the silver truck on the cover of Brother's latest catalog?

Looks like a tube grille with an insert.

It looks good. A blend of of old and new(kind of resembles late model grilles)
Can I put together something like that for my 83?

I too have been wanting that grille for my truck!!! Brothers has told me that they don't know where the owner came up with it..... After staring at the catalog cover long enough, it looks like he took one of their billet inserts, and took a cut down piece of rib from a wood bed floor, then attached a bowtie to it.... For yours you probably can did it with the insert for your year....

It looks like a tube grille with the 81-87 side molding ran down the middle with a bowtie stuck to it.
The strips on a stepside are only about 1" wide, so it can't be that.

Nice look to the grill for sure! I wish we could get in touch with the owner to ask him about it.

Perhaps try tracking down the owner thru the licence plate number? Then again, california law may make that difficult.
