Title: will older style door handle fit an 82 door?

I've got an 82 SWB. It currently has the stock door handle, but has an older style door panel. To say the least, the door handle/door panel combination looks odd...and some functionality is lost.

Question is: Can I replace the 82 interior door handles with the older style door handle? Specifically, will they bolt on using the existing hole pattern?

If you are using 77-80 door panels they will work.  The inner handle mounting never changed, just the style of how it looked.
