Title: Will a '82 tailgate fit a '76 truck???
Post by: txtj79 on October 07, 2008, 08:59:32 pm: I have a 76 C-10 and I need a tailgate. Found one on craigslist for an 82. Will it fit? Is the latch system and mounting the same?

Post by: ccz145a on October 07, 2008, 10:56:01 pm: trunions are different, too. good news is the right ones will bolt on. pretty sure the latch will work, but you need to bolt on '82 drop bars.
