Has anyone ever put fleetside tail lights on a stepside? I prefer those to the stepside ones and even though the curves etc. wouldn't exactly line up, I'm sure one could blend the tail light holder (is that what it's called?) curve into the fender curve. Does anyone have a pic of this? If not do you think it would look good or bad?

Sounds like a bad idea. It wouldn't fit right/look good in my opinion. There are many different lights you can go with on the stepside. I have them in the roll pan only and I saw a guy who did caddy tails on his.

Hey, that looks pretty sweet!

I found some LED lights that fit into the hole at the end of the bed. I was going to smoke them so they will blend into the bed and not be as noticable, but I dont know who sells them ((swap meet special)

I`m taking a rollpan and gonna french these taillights in horizintally and there gonna be on each side of the licence plate and gona modify a 89 grand am back up light into the top of the licence plate housing as well. Its one of my personnal mods i`m gonna do to this stepside.

I've seen those in the Brother's and catalogs. What would you do about reverse lights?

Honestly, I havent thought that far yet ???

My buddies 35 Pontiac coupe. We put some square driving lights up under the back. They are plenty bright enough to flood the entire area 15' behind it.

Another one that looks pretty good is a 50's merc taillight. I saw one on a '53 pickup and always wanted to try it on a square body... just need to get another short bed to try it on.

What about frenching some '59 caddy taillights into the fenders? The kits are available these days.
