Title: Our Elected Officials fail a test

Ok, I like to think I am at least a little smarter than the average person, don't we all?  Well, The Intercollegiate Studies Institute www.isi.org gave a civics quiz to elected officials.  Believe it or not, the general population scored better than our elected officials.  My mom always told me I could be President.   The average score for elected officials was 44%, and general population was 49%, either way, the average person got MOST questions wrong.  Geez, public education.

I am not proud of my score, I've been out of college now for 18 yrs, and am not the brightest lightbulb in a Vegas sign, but I still passed with 75%......."You answered 25 out of 33 correctly — 75.76 %"

I managed a 24 out of 33.  :-\  I really shouldn't think before I finish my first cup of coffee.

When they posted the correct answers, I felt really dumb.  I knew them, just didn't think.  Oh well, been away from high school for dang near 25 years.

I am twenty years out of college.

I answered 26 out of 33 correctly — 78.79 %

I took it last night (probably a bad idea)  I got 22 out of 33

Was out of school for a few years but now Im back in it working on an AA in business. Guess that business law class they made me take was worth something after all lol
