« on: April 04, 2019, 09:33:46 PM »
Hey just wondering were to get or find the right material and thickness to make the rubber splash shields for the front inner fenders. One of mine is torn up. All the material i find is too thick or stiff and dont want patterned stuff. Thanks

If you don't mind a little metal work you could always make it out of some  thin gauge sheetmetal. Then use either bolts or pop rivets to fasten them.

Metal would be cool to use. Put a bead rolled edge on it be neat looking.
I have seen the  direct replacement ones on a 3 letter company website for pretty cheap. I live in Canada and dont want to get stung with exchange and shipping. I was at home depot yesterday and seen bbq mats that looked like it might work. But im still open to other suggestions. Thanks

I found some on eBay a few years ago, but I think k it was over $50 for a pair. When they arrived and I looked at them I realized I could have gone to my local farm supply store and had some generic rubber mat cut for a lot cheaper.

So i used a $14 dollar bbq mat. It was thin and flexable. Was able to trace and cut very easy. Has a good texture and looks about as factory as im going to get. Haven't installed yet but will soon and will take pics.
