700r4 & ls 5.3 questions.

does anyone know if i can use my fllexplate and convertor from my gen 1 motor, when i do my 5.3 swap. if not what balance, tooth count flywheel do i need to make it work. and can i use my convertor. does anyone know if the input shafts are the same.

I don't think you will be able to use the same flexplate.  I know the ones are different for the two piece rear main seal and the one piece.

you have to buy a $50 spacer/adapter for it to work. im gona do the same whenever i get to do my 5.3 swap in my k10. ill do some digging and see if i can find a link for you.
