vin # searching
« on: October 05, 2009, 09:51:44 pm »
Does anyone know how I can search my vin for options and if it was an original cab and chassis truck or a pickup? The vin is ccw33av134292. I looked in   and it said that if the 5th digit is a 4 it is a pickup but nothing for a 3. Any help please?

VIN's can be decoded on our website here: http://www.73-87chevytrucks.com/VIN.htm
Yours is a 2WD 1 ton Regular Cab, Cab and chassis truck.

C = Chevrolet
C = Conventional Cab
W =?  I will have do some research on W...
3 = 1Ton
3 = Cab and Chassis
A = ?  You sure this isn't a 4 (it HAS to be a number)
V= GMTruck/Pontiac Plant
134292 = build sequence

Framerail under the hood on the top and sometimes on the top UNDER the cab.
