Hello from Florida
« on: July 08, 2011, 09:07:27 pm »
Hello all,
Well I just dug my 83 GMC Sierra Classic from the tall grass and weeds at my house in Mims, Florida and moved in the garage in my Titusville, Florida house. I'm getting ready to start restoring it. It needs quite a bit of rust removal and a new engine the 305 in it is a real dog and leaks all over the place. i have been building a 96 350 from an old cop car to put in it and its almost done. Ill get some pictures posted as soon as i get it a little cleaned up so you can tell what it is.

yep an lt1 I removed the fuel injection and modified a GM performance intake to fit. i also removed the electronics and using the distributor from the 83 305, 30 over, mild cam and new roller lifters. The stock lt1 in  a 96 caprice cop car was 300 horse i hope to get 350
