Neutral Safety Switch Help
« on: August 25, 2012, 10:26:10 PM »
Hello all, I have been working on a 78 k10, I Just replaced the neutral safety switch, which made my reverse lights start working, but the truck only starts in neutral now.  I had previsouly posted about the switch being bypassed using a staple, so know I dont no what to do. Anyone know why this would be happening? Thanks in advance.

Are you saying the truck doesn't start in park?

You may have accumulated wear in the column or linkage.  Try readjusting the neutral safety switch.

It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!
