fuel tank selector ideas

so i have an 81 lwb dual tanks the guy i bought it from said the tank selector valve did not work well after checking a bunch of botched wiring and fixing it the tank selector makes a noise like its switching  but doesnt seem to be switching is there a homade setup that anyone has came across to replace the electric valve with manual valves thanks for any info

Alto of work to retrofit something else in there when you could just replace the stock switch valve.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

true but i am not paying 149 for a new one and i dont order stuff online

149 for a new one is not to bad

you would probably spend just about that in parts just to make a homemade one that would not work as nice as a switch on the dash
