Bed Compartment

so i was looking at old brochures, trying to find a color (which i never found...) and i came across this magazine ad. I have never seen one. Do any of you guys have one or took pics of one? looks cool!

Seen pictures of them but never in person on a Chevy. There was a few guys around my neck of the woods growing up that had Fords with them though .
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

The fall guy truck had/has them and they talk about it in detail;  You may want to google it.

there is a truck at a bolt and fastener place that has one but the truck is rusted out

I've only seen one truck with it, actually it was with the box but without the door...  Along the same lines of Blazin's comments; for Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico they were more common on Ford trucks of that era than the GMC/Chevy trucks.

The Fall Guy truck didn't have them. The doors it had in the bed were a custom built set up. The storage box was above the floor line. The door that opened went from top to bottom, or pretty close to it.

There is a guy that lives by me with a completely restored one that he takes to car show and it has the compartment. Its different, but I do not know how much I would use it and it makes it so you cannot have dual tanks.

My uncle had 2 or 3 fords with em, never knew chevy had that option!

I do not know him on a personal basis yet....but if I see him I will take pics...that or the car show he is usually at happens end of May, beginning of June. So I will try and get one there if not before (if he shows that is).

Fall Guy the whole front bed side opens, on these truck with the factory compartment it is just that lower section.  I have seen one and took pics but I can't seem to find them.
