Hello, I am helping my son rebuild a 1985 SWB Silverado. Joined this forum in hopes to share some of what I've learned, learn from others, and just generally share my appreciation for the 73-87 style chevy truck! We started with a $700 85 SWB and have replaced both fuel tanks, and new exhaust. Rebuilt top end w/new RV cam, carb rebuild, etc. We just finished rebuilding the entire suspension including new body mounts and lowered 3/4. We've replaced some of the body panels from parts trucks, but still have a looooong ways to go. To the untrained eye it probably doesn't look like much but my son loves it so much that he swears he will never sell it!

I'll have to figure out how to post the pics.....We got lucky and there was a good 010 4 bolt main 350 engine in there.....other than that, we added an RV cam so it's a pretty mild setup....fun though!
