Doors from an 85 fit an 80

Found a  donor truck...will they interchange?

Yes they'll interchange. The main difference will be the door panel styling will be cosmetically different, but you can swap those. I guess the major thing is if you have any power options in either door style? But if you don't care about that then the doors themselves will physically bolt on and interchange. The doors that were different would be 73-77 doors. The inner metal design was different on them due to the shorter door panels and the interior structure was different due to no power options.

Actually it's 73-76 that had the short door panels

Other minor differences are door seals, glass and weather stripping although they will interchange within the door frame.

Well, I knew that I was close! Lol! Thanks for the correction. I actually knew that too and still typed it wrong! Oh well! Hopefully this helps him out and any others who are looking and might want to know.
