Truck box floor replacement
« on: February 03, 2016, 05:37:44 pm »
So... I'm currently in the process of cleaning up some of the issues on my little project race truck 85 C10 RCSB. I use to have a Jaz 32gal fuel cell in the back for weight over the axle and for proper transfer but recently decided to go to a smaller more concealed 16gal in frame style cell. so when i had the 32 gallon cell i had to cut my box floor to make everything fit and now i have a huge hole in my box i want to fill up so my question is ive seen whole one piece floor replacement from summit and   for around $500..So are the floors hard to replace and unbolt and do they come with the box supports already welded on ready to go??? or should i just try to weld the piece i cut out back in and have the box line-x.... which would look like a hack job more than likely. In in need people lol.

if it was only a piece you cut out and the rest of the floor was in good shape i would find a donor bed and cut it out of it.
