This might sound confusing but I'll try my best to explain it clearly. My passenger side tank is leaking. When I switch to that tank after about 15-20 seconds fuel starts pouring out from the top of the tank. I am assuming this is a fuel line, perhaps a return line given the short wait before fuel starts leaking out. This has been going on since I bought the truck and I haven't bothered to fix it since I have the other tank. Now though it seems when I fill the drivers side tank it starts leaking, but it leaks from the passenger side, from above the passenger tank. It's a much smaller leak than the original one and it seems to either be intermittent, or only leak when there is a certain amount of fuel in my drivers side tank. I haven't driven it enough to be able to tell however if it's intermittent or only leaks when theres so much fuel. Anybody got any ideas? I haven't looked super close due to the weather right now, but it looks like the only way to get a clear view of the lines is to drop the tanks? Anything I need to look out for when doing this? Are the lines long enough to drop the tank without disconnecting them? Thanks for any help guys, much appreciated.
