driveshafts?
« on: August 20, 2008, 11:54:31 am »
converting the olds conversion back to chevy... the olds driveshaft is a two piece, the chevy isn't. i'm swapping the chevy parts over, now does the rear end have to go with the driveshafts or will it mate up with  what's in my truck already? swapping from an 80 silverado to a 79 silverado that had the olds engine and tranny in it.

Do you mean will the U-joint fit in the yoke? You need to take a measurement because there is more than one yoke size. If the shaft length is correct and the yokes are mismatched you can purchase a conversion joint.
