Blazer rear quarter repair panel
« on: November 13, 2010, 01:54:44 pm »
Does anyone know if Sherman part 923-60L which is listed as 'QTR PNL RR SEC LH/RH SUBURB 73-91' will work on a Blazer. I'm most concerned about the angle of the bottom edge. Is it the same on a Suburban as on a Blazer???

I can't find any listed on their website specifically for Blazers....

http://shermanparts.com/ecat/base/dropdowns.php?last0=CHEV&last1=BLFS&make=CHEV&model=BLFS&year=1987

Sherman and   parts are the only ones I can easily get hold of.

All of those patch panels are listed as: Truck, Blazer & Suburban. You are correct, the bottom angle will be slightly steeper for the short bed truck, Blazer, ect., compared to the long bed & Suburban, however it should not be a problem...it will just "roll under" & you can cut it off flush with the existing portion of the panel. Cool, but surely if I "roll under" the metal it'll make the angle even shallower?? Guess I'll have to roll it out and hopefully there'll be enough sheet metal....
