sweaking steering

everytime i turn my wheels my belt sweaks like a son of a gun, what causes this? everythung seems tight. it bugs the heck out of me, i pull into a parking lot all waxed up looking good put it in reverse and all it does the enitre time is sweeeeaaaakkkk drives me crazy.

Make sure your pump is mounted securely. How old is your belt? Are you sure its power steering? I had the same problem and i had to pry the pump away from the block with a 4' cheater bar and tighten it in order to make it stop squeaking.

Belt could be glazed from slipping.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Are you sure it's the belt and not the pump?
