Remembering today.

Ten years ago today our nation, and our lives as we know them were forever changed. The words terrorism, and national security took on new meaning. No matter what each of us was doing that day, we will never forget who we were with, where we were, and what we were doing the day of our nation was attacked.
To all those that lost there lives that day, you will never be forgotten. To all the men, and women in uniform that responded to those attacks that day, the ones that never returned home to your families, you are true hero's, may your memories live on synonyms with pride by all that knew you. To all the brave men and women that have had to leave the comfort of their country, the warmth of their, home, the love of their family, parents, wives, children, girl friends, even pets some to never return. We as a nation will always be in your debt.

     Very important not to forget what happened and why.  The worst thing that can happen is people become complacent and forget what or why it happened.

Very well put blazin. I can still tell you where I was and what I was doing when we were attacked. That is something I will never forget!

 The worst part of that day was watching those towers fall knowing at that moment people were trapped inside .

Some jumped to their deaths beforehand.

one thing i didnt like about it all, was them showing people who jumped or fell. why? i know death happened everyone knows that but why show that. its like showing an execution on tv. but i think it was 60 60 or dateline who even did a report on the man famous for taking the "falling/flying man's” picture. it was a couple of minutes on just people who jumped or fell i had to walk away. like i said i know death happens but i dont want to be reminded and see this. this is why i never joined the fire company i dont want to see it. i thought about the who whole tragedy and kept those in my mind but never watch a lot on tv saw some of the ceremonies when I did turn it on
