Rear suspension: Lift springs or shackle flip?

There's a guy around town who has 6" rear lift springs for 100$. Cheap and fast. Tempting.
But what I kind of really wanted was to do the shackle flip with 2" lift springs. That's like nearly 600$, tons more work. But I think the ride would prolly be better? If anything, the driveshaft angle would be better.
Opinions?

Oh, and the truck already has a 6" lift on it. The rear is currently blocks and add-a-leaf. I want that junk gone.

Depends on the brand of spring for the ride, I do know if not done right, the shackle flip could make things worse and ride horrible. Been there, done that.

my vote is on a 6" rear spring. I have 6" front springs and my rear is the 4" block with add-a-leaf. I wish i went for the 6" rear springs. As for the shackle flip I dont have much experience on ride quality that provides. I think a 6" spring would ride just fine compared to the block and add-a-leaf.

It's cold and miserable out here in the Northeast. And I only am blessed with a carport. Do you think 200$ is a fair price to have these springs installed?
Plus I don't own a torch, or any air tools, or anything at all that would make this job go fast and easy and painless... or a lift lol.

$200.00 dollars to install rear springs sounds like a fair price, especially since you don't have the tools or space to install them.
It should take someone around 2 hours or so to change them out.
