How many leafs are there on the stock (single leaf per side) rear leaf springs of a 84 Silverado swb sb auto? What is the proper placement of the leafs? Pic would be great.

Depends, 1/2 ton can be anything from a 3/1(4 leafs bottom being about an 3/4 inch thick and pretty straight) to a 6/1(7 leaves total)
