hi , joined the forum because im not gettin too much feedback on c10forum.com and hoping id get more responsive threads here.

got a 75 c10 with a chevy 350 l98 tpi (fuel injected) 5.7l from a 91 firebird. fresh car ready to be worked on i will be taking the motor out soon and ill post pictures.the motor seems to got some power, but coolant is coming out of the exhaust so ill be taking out the motor to see whats going on.

one thing id like to know ( because im not sure ) ..since the motor is from a firebird does that mean its a pontiac 350 or is it still considered a chevy motor?

hah k thanks got it. typical forum rules, i wasn't specifically looking to get that question answered with my new member post but just thought since i was talking about the motor maybe someone might know and i should throw it out there.

sorry

not really a "form rule" but some people might not even look at the "welcome" section and might only be looking at helping others out. if something is in the wrong section we will move it for you with no issue. but i just dont want you to think no one knows the answer cause they might not see it

No, it's a chev motor if it came from a 91 firebird.    Now, pontiac and for that matter buick, olds all had 350 v-8's at one time, but that's a whole different topic and we should probably move it to the engine forum.
