anybody know if the made a roller 350 in the 88 to 95 model motors for truck

yes, after about 92 all motors are roller cams, if that is what you are talking about.

Chris, I believe it is later than '92 as to all, I know some had them, but I think it is '96 that all had rollers. Some of the transition years had "roller" blocks (have the bosses for the lifter spider & front thrust plate) but had flat tappet cams. I helped a friend do a Vortec head & roller cam swap in his '95 truck. It had the roller block,but a flat tappet cam. His was a shortbed 1/2 ton 4x4. It had 66,000 miles. We used a GM kit, it came with the intake,one exhaust manifold,ect. Lorne

what all is needed to make a regular one a roller. if i get roller cam do i have to have roller lifters and roller rockers

Mike, To use the factory parts, you need to have a roller compatible block,the cam,lifters,lifter spider,pushrods,front thrust plate. There may be a few other parts, timing chain gear,distributor gear,ect, without research that is all I can think of, Lorne

What makes a roller cam a roller cam is the fact that it has roller lifters.

Did some checking and that is correct, 1996 was the official across the board for rollers in trucks.  Cars got them earlier.  I have seen a 88-95 pickups w/ a roller before factory though.  Guess it was like everything else GM, hit or miss.
