Where to look?
« on: January 22, 2009, 10:25:12 pm »
So where is the best place to look for a truck to buy?  I know the typical Ebay, Autotrader, and Craigslist.....but are there any forums out there that may have a "For Sale" section?

Thanks,
Shawn

Look in your local papers too. There is a for sale section here also.

AH!  I just joined and it didn't update the sections for members only until I refreshed the page.  Not much in there though...   :P  Oh well, I'm not really ready yet anyway...

I`ve also looked in farm yards and just drove around and rubbernecked to see what was around. You never know what you`ll find  in someones back yard and they may just tell you not for sale or to just take it or a very low price..

thanks

All of my best deals over the years cheap cheap or free have been from inquiring about a car or truck just sitting idle in someones yard.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
