relocating Radio and after market guages
« on: February 25, 2009, 10:44:27 PM »
I'm feud up every time I drive my truck where my radio is  :'(, I hit my knees and also I almost drive off the road when I adjust the radio, since I'm not using the a/c heater equipment, I decided to move my radio where it was, also I will be showing how I installed my gauges that I did last year
I will be using  a 89-91 bezel, it going cover the mess up where the past owner installed a  radio, I still need fasten the radio a make a new piece of diamond pate for the gauges and to cover up the factory radio

Man what a shame i just threw out a 85 metal dash that was perfect and wasnt butchered up like both of your trucks are. If you wanted you could always make a bracket and make a slot for the radio in its original location and pop rivet into place.I mean it be better then what you got now.
thanks

Yikes! I would just spend a little time reworking the factory location.

Are you going to put the cabin air controls back or leave them out?

BTW, what's up with your speedometer registering speed while sitting still  ;)
